22nd International Conference on Descriptional Complexity of Formal Systems (DCFS 2020)

August 24 – 26, 2020, Vienna, Austria

Due to the pandemia caused by the Corona virus, the 22nd International Conference on Descriptional Complexity of Formal Systems (DCFS 2020), originally planned to be organized by Rudolf Freund at the TU Wien, had to be cancelled as event where the participants would meet in person at Vienna. Only a collection of papers is going to be published in the LNCS Proceedings. All the original deadlines are not valid any more; actual information has to be looked up at the new website for the collection of papers only.

In 2002, DCFS was the result of the merger of DCAGRS (Descriptional Complexity of Automata, Grammars and Related Structures) and FDSR (Formal Descriptions and Software Reliability).
  • DCAGRS was previously held in Magdeburg, Germany (1999), London, Ontario, Canada (2000) and Wien, Austria (2001).
  • FDSR was previously held in Paderborn (1998), Boca Raton (1999) and San Jose (2000).
